Aftercare Instructions

  • Very gently wash tattooed area twice daily with your BrowsEyesLips aftercare wash for 2 weeks

  • Gently apply a light layer of your all natural aftercare ointment 2 times daily for 2 weeks

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure as this can cause the pigment to change color or migrate

  • Avoid excessive sweating for 2 weeks as it can cause the color to bleed out

  • DO NOT PICK SCABS. Picking scabs off will pull the pigment out with them. Let them flake off on their own

  • Do not apply makeup to tattooed area until scabs are completely gone

  • Avoid rough sleeping. Try and keep your head slightly propped up to avoid rubbing your face against your pillow. The fabric on your pillow can pull the scabs off

  • Avoid any face down massages, steams/saunas, submerging under water, chemical peels or anything that may disrupt the natural scabbing phase.

  • DO NOT PANIC! From the time you start to scab up until 6 weeks post appointment is called the Do Not Panic phase. Your tattooing will go through many phases:

  1. They will be dark at first. You will get used to this (and maybe even miss it once they fade).

  2. Around day 3-5, you will start to scab. This lasts 1-2 weeks.

  3. After all of your scabs have fallen off naturally, they will be very light and patchy.

  4. Week 2-6 the color will continue to return and your tattooing will continue to darken.

  • For brows, your touch up appointment will be 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment. This appointment is crucial and is the time when everything comes together to flow perfectly. The same aftercare instruction apply to this appointment

  • Occasionally an additional touch up will be needed. Please contact your Permanent Makeup Artist if you believe you will need this. Additional fees may apply for additional touch ups

Please follow all aftercare instructions thoroughly. Not doing so will result in less retention and may require more future touch ups.

If you have any questions or concerns during healing, please feel free to contact your Permanent Makeup Artist. Lets work together to make your permanent makeup dreams come true.
